Are you interested in a business or office technology career? Jump Starting an Office Career (JSOC) is a class for anyone interested in exploring today’s office career opportunities and getting off to the right start. If you are new to computers, keyboarding, and are interested in working in an office setting, this course is the place to start. This training will end with a capstone project where students will create a porfolio type project using Microsoft suite software programs.
This course consists of a minimum of 60 hours of training spread out over 24 scheduled sessions. A session consists of a one-hour live zoom sessions followed by 1-2 hrs of asynchronous (anytime) activities via the AVTEConline class portal.
